On the 22nd, the 8th China Urban Logistics Development Conference, hosted by the China Warehousing and Distribution Association and the Provincial Department of Commerce, built communication channels for production, circulation, and logistics enterprises from the perspective of the urban logistics supply chain, bringing together the national logistics community to explore the development of urban logistics.
In the on-site dialogue session, Wu Qingyi, chairman of the Asian Pallet System Alliance, known as a leader in the Chinese logistics industry, gave a detailed explanation to nearly a thousand domestic logistics elites on topics such as "Unit Load Logistics and Standardization Innovation in Commercial Logistics" and "The Importance of Logistics Standardization." Wang Jixiang, vice president of the China Warehousing and Distribution Association, said in an interview, "We have signed a strategic agreement with the European Pallet Association, enabling them to accept China's pallet standards instead of promoting European pallet standards."
"Logistics standardization, pallets are the key." Hao Xibin, general manager of Changchun Henghe Logistics Service Co., Ltd., told reporters at the meeting that implementing pallet standardization in logistics can effectively reduce handling and packaging costs, help reduce labor costs, speed up product circulation, thereby reducing production costs, and making the company's products more competitive. Henghe Logistics' innovative approach is to use high-bay racking to store goods to improve space utilization. Compared with the previous flat layout, this method has several times the storage efficiency. At the same time, inventory operations are easy to use forklift operations, and inventory operations can be automated and standardized.
