Narrow aisle racking is essentially a type of beam racking, but with the addition of ground rails to its structure. These rails are typically made of unequal angle steel. The biggest difference between narrow aisle racking and ordinary beam racking is the narrower aisle width. In the same space, more racks can be placed, resulting in a much higher storage rate. Due to the narrow aisles, ordinary forklifts cannot operate within them; specialized "three-directional stacking forklifts" are required. These forklifts operate on ground rails when storing and retrieving goods, resulting in high efficiency.
Suitable Applications: Narrow aisle racking is suitable for warehouses with large storage capacity and high storage density; suitable for warehouses with frequent goods turnover and a wide variety of goods; suitable for warehouses with high net heights, greater than 8 meters; only three-directional stacking forklifts can be used for goods storage and retrieval.
